Actopan, which in Nahuatl language means "fertile land." Located at 311 meters above sea level, at the bottom of a ravine that extends from the Sierra de Chiconquiaco to the sea, its area includes the most diverse landscapes of mountains, ravines, streams and coastal plains.

Due to its characteristics, the area is ideal for practicing rafting, rappel and bird watching, among others. The main attraction of this place is the Waterfall "The Descabezadero" here comes a birth that gives way to a cascade of about 15 meters.
